Take Up Space Art Exhibition

This June, Community Support Advocates’ Momentum Art Program will present a series of immersive art experiences through the perspectives of artists with disabilities. The exhibition features artist, Abby Neiderhauser, and her experience with autism, and artist, Leo Bird, and his experience with autism and social isolation as well as other artists and their experiences with mental health and neurodiversity. Take Up Space will be open to the public the first few weeks of June, with an opening reception June 2, 2023. For more information, click here.

ChildServe Community Education Series-Management of Mental Health and Behavioral Issues in Adolescents and Adults with Autism

ChildServe is hosting a free Community Education series from February 2023-November 2023. All presentational Zooms will be from 4-5pm.

The April presentation will be on Management of Mental Health and Behavioral Issues in Adolescents and Adults with Autism. ChildServe’s Pediatric Clinical Psychologist will be presenting common trouble symptoms that are associated with ASD and discuss strategies and modalities of treatment.

Presentation information for April: Date is April 19th from 4-5pm.

Postpartum Play Group-Virtual

Check out this Postpartum Parenting group that is currently meeting virtually on Tuesday’s from 9-10:30am. This group is for parents of kiddo’s ages newborn to 3 and parents. The group meets to celebrate kiddo’s milestones, discuss concerns, ask questions, and show support in a safe and casual manner that is led by a lactation specialist/parent coach/childbirth and postpartum educator Amy Brooks-Murphy.
